MotorHub Saxo Bank AutoX Championship

The MotorHub Saxo Bank AutoX is a certified Championship Series for the Car Club Community with official timings recorded on a UAE national level. Participate, Compete and Accumulate your points with each Round leading to the announcement of a UAE Champion at the end of the 2021 Season.

EVENT DESCRIPTION:
Round 1 and the first MotorHub installment of the Autocross Championship UAE is under way. Make sure to participate in this race and start accumulating points.

03.00PM – 10.00PM

VEHICLE CATEGORY:
All Wheel Drive (AWD)
Rear Wheel Drive (RWD)
Front Wheel Drive (FWD)
Electric Vehicle (EV)

APPROVED VEHICLES:
Road Legal Cars Only
Must have a valid registration
Tires with no less than 140 Treadwear (Full Slicks are Not Permitted)

DRIVING SKILL:
Advanced / Intermediate / Novice

RACE LICENSE:
Required and must be presented on the day
If you are applying for your License for the first time, what you will need is a ‘Novice Restricted’ License
You may acquire your race license online on the Emirates Motorsport Organisation (EMSO) website or on the day of the event (ID copy, Passport copy, Visa page, Driving License and a Passport-sized Photo are required – digital copies of these are accepted)
Note: Racing License fees are paid to the EMSO
Note: Medical test is NOT required to acquire your License

TRACK SESSIONS:
Heat 1: 04.30PM
Heat 2: 06.30PM
Heat 3: 08.30PM
Each Participant will have 2 timed heats and the Top 3 from each Category (AWD/RWD/FWD) will have a Third and final heat

PODIUM AND PRIZE GIVING:
10.00PM

REPRESENT YOUR CLUB:
If you are a member of a Car Club, make sure to add their name on the registration.
When the Leader Board is published, you will have your Name, Car and Car Club mentioned!

LEADER BOARD:
Will be published after each round/event in the 2021 Series leading up to a UAE Champion to be announced

FEES
AED 550 (including VAT)

COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Negative PCR or DPI is Required (dated maximum 10 days before the event date) and must be presented on the day
Face masks are required to be worn and physical distancing measures applied throughout the event
